JOHANNESBURG. On 12 December 2014,
Andrew Rayel will headline the second edition
of the wildly successful Imagine Nation event
series being held at Midrand Mega Park.
A leading talent in the ever-growing trance
scene, Andrew Rayel has been called “the
modern-day Mozart” on account of his
distinctive orchestral sound. Top local talent at
the event includes Pascal & Pearce, Royal K,
Household Funk, Vimo and the Pimp Squad.

to visit” said the trance star about his imminent
arrival, “getting the chance to check out the
beauty of the country and the opportunity to
play for my fans there is just amazing, I really
can't wait to rock JHB and Durban!”
Last year a 3000-strong crowd danced the night away to German trance duo
Cosmic Gate - this year Spiced Productions have returned strong with
Moldovian trance star, Andrew Rayel who will headline Imagine Nation
Chapter 2 at Midrand Mega Park alongside over 10 of South Africa’s biggest
electronic acts on two dancefloors.
Although his career is fairly young, Rayel has already played the world's most
legendary clubs and festivals including Gathering, Trancefusion, Ball En
Blanc, Trancemission and Ministry of Sound to multiple A State of Trance 600

making him the highest climber. This year he rose to reach the 24th position.
At only 22, he is widely regarded as a leading talent in the new generation of
EDM producers. Developing strong musical skills, he studied orchestral music
and kicked off his producing career at only 13 years of age. Earning the
support of the DJ elite, the Rayel sound has spread all across the globe, from
underground clubs to mainstream festivals and remix requests from industry
leaders like Armin van Buuren Markus Schulz, Tiësto, W&W, Bobina,
