Spreading the word with 'A Discussion Between Saxes'

It's been on everyone's radar for a while now, but Miami producer Eche Palante has finally released his much acclaimed single 'A Discussion Between Saxes' on Spinnin' Records. After an exclusive Spotify release two weeks ago, as well as an official video to go with his summer tinged house record, this debut will take the Spinnin' Talent Pool artist to another level.

Eche Palante (aka Florida resident Dylan Echevarria) resembles everything happening in dance music today. First, there's the ever increasing army of home producers, delivering higher quality with every single release, canalized with the revolutionary Talent Pool app from Spinnin' Records. Secondly, it's the fresh breeze of smooth, mostly groove-based house music currently taking hold of dance floors more and more.

"When I started making music in 2012, I liked the heavy stuff. Then, I discovered guys like Oliver Heldens, Thomas Jack, EDX, and Jauz, who really incorporate old-school house, UK garage, and what I consider 'nu-deep sounds' in their music - I was blown away”, Eche Palante articulates how the focus is shifting from muscular sounds to melodic (deep) house.

Summer vibe

After releasing a free download of his remix of the Sander van Doorn/Martin Garrix /DVBBS' single 'Gold Skies', the producer felt he wanted to take this sound further. "The track had a summer vibe to it. I got a lot of positive response and went along to produce 'A Discussion Between Saxes' in the same atmosphere. I love those 90s piano chords, you can never have enough of those. Then I asked a friended saxophonist to play some melodies to this, resulting in a full string of tunes, which I arranged to the melodies you hear in the track."

With lots of people supporting the tune, Eche Palante dared to enter it in Spinnin' Records' Talent Pool. "I didn't expect anything, as it's mostly heavy stuff dominating the chart. But a week later I was on the number one spot! When I heard Spinnin' wanted to release the track, I was in class and almost fell from my chair haha! I had to carefully escape the class room before I could jump up and down -this was amazing!"

After Spinnin' built a likewise summery video alongside the track, followed by an exclusive premiere at Spotify, as of today 'A Discussion Between Saxes' is now available for everyone. "It's given me a lot of confidence", the producer says. "I've already got three or four tracks ready for release, including a follow-up on 'Saxes', let's hope this is the start of a beautiful future at Spinnin' Records."

Staying true to his name, Eche Palante, based off a Spanish saying 'echa pa’lante', meaning 'carry on' or 'move forward', it looks like we haven't heard the last of this rising star from Florida.
