Bassjackers & Brooks - 'Alamo' Dutch collab takes electro sound to new heights

Bassjackers reach new heights as they deliver brand new single 'Alamo' on renowned record label Skink. Working with upcoming dance act Brooks, the Dutch duo builds a fresh and exciting layer above their trademark electro sound, furiously switching between chords, tempo and maddening sound effects. As Bassjackers has already grown out from rising stars in the Dutch nightlife to world acclaimed dance artists, it's been quite some bombs they've been dropping. Remember 2011, when their claim to fame 'Mush Mush' got released on Tiësto's imprint Musical Freedom? Or their 2013 hit single 'Crackin', last year's club hit 'Savior' or the North American tours the guys undertook in between?

In any case, Bassjackers has proven itself a go-to dance act for mainstage excitement, successfully transferring the live experience to exhilarating records. And as they've moved up to the higher echelons of DJ culture, these days see them share the knowledge with young, upcoming producers.

Like they've done with 'Alamo', a track referring to the famous battle in the American civil war. For this tune Bassjackers worked with Brooks, a DJ/producer who's already received support from artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Quintino and Fedde Le Grand when he made a cool remix of Azzido Da Bass' '50.000 Watts'.
