Taking house music sky high Ferreck Dawn - 'Superman'

Ferreck Dawn returns with another key track in his ever increasing repertoire. And again, it's a new, exciting trip into house music. Aptly titled 'Superman' the Dutch DJ drops influences from R&B, tech house as well as UK rhythmics into the mix, making this a tune that works on multiple levels. Released on Mike Mago's BMKLTSCH imprint, 'Superman' is already the go-to track for loads of (deep) house DJs.
Favored by house connoisseurs and club crowds all over the globe, Ferreck Dawn has delivered a couple of timeless singles in the many years he's been active. Working the crossover area between deep, tech and vocal house it’s resulted in several releases on labels like Spinnin' Records, Toolroom, Hey Records and Material.
Most recent and eye-catching were his collabs with Dutch act Redondo, bringing the much acclaimed single 'Love Too Deep' on Spinnin' last year, followed by the inspired deep house tune 'Something Else' early 2015, supported by DJs like Groove Armada, Oliver Heldens, The Magician and Pete Tong. His solo effort 'Another Day', which followed April this year sorted the same effect, melancholy vibes on a house rhythm, defining Ferreck's sound even more.
And now perhaps his most prolific record has seen the light. 'Superman' is where the Dutch DJ finds himself these days, as he explains his love for vintage sounds. "I listen to R&B a lot, especially older tracks. I heard Ciara - 'Promise' a while ago and immediately liked the vocal. I found the acapella, pitched it down and speeded it up and that was my starting point in creating ‘Superman'. The track fits well in both deep house and tech house sets, the UK vibe adds a nice flavor to it I feel. It definitely gets the women’s booty shaking."
Already supported by DJs like Finnebassen, Bakermat, Shadow Child, Mr. Belt & Wezol and Sister Bliss, it's a definite tune to dominate 2015's sound, making Ferreck Dawn once more the bringer of a deeper, more profound sound into house music.
